About Calcy

Calcy is a free online calculator website built around one idea: getting a number shouldn't require an account, a download, or watching an ad before you can see your answer.

Every one of the 35+ calculators on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you type into the EMI calculator, the BMI calculator, or any of the others, that calculation happens on your device using JavaScript — nothing is uploaded to a server, and there's no account or sign-up standing between you and the result.

What's on Calcy

The catalog spans eight categories: Basic Math, Scientific, Finance, Health & Fitness, Date & Time, Converters, Everyday tools, and Developer tools. Each calculator has its own page with a short explanation of how the formula works, so it's useful for learning, not just for the answer.

Our approach to accuracy

Calcy's calculators use standard, well-established formulas (documented on each calculator's own page). That said, every result is an estimate for general informational purposes — Calcy is not a substitute for advice from a qualified financial advisor, doctor, accountant, or other professional. Privacy by default

Because Calcy doesn't have a backend or a database, there's nothing to store your calculations in even if we wanted to. Some preferences — like dark mode, favorites, and recently used calculators — are saved locally in your browser using localStorage, which never leaves your device.
